    Description

    The Canada 100 Dollars with a pick number P-110c was issued by the Bank of Canada in 2011. The banknotes obverse depicts Canadas 8th prime minister Robert Laird Borden wearing a suit. The back of the banknote displays a woman peering into a microscope. A bottle of insulin, an electrocardiogram or EKG reading, and a DNA double helix are also visible. The banknote also bears a maple leaf on both the obverse and reverse. The 152 x 70 mm banknote is made of a polymer substrate, making it more resistant to counterfeiting and forgery. Additionally, it has a holographic stripe with an image of Robert Borden and the tower of the East Block of the Parliament in Ottawa. It also carries the signatures of BOCs Deputy Governor Carolyn A Wilkins and Governor Stephen Poloz.
