IES 1810 INTER-BOND LOW VOC ADHESION PROMOTER
INTER-BOND Low VOC Adhesion Promoter is designed to improve adhesion and help prevent paint peeling on new unfinished plastic parts and previously painted surfaces.
INTER-BOND Low VOC is a clear adhesion promoter that modifies the surface properties of “difficult” polyolefin plastics like polypropylene, TPO, TPE, EDPM and other plastics, creating a tie coat between the plastic and the top coat.
Works equally well on fiberglass, aluminum, vinyl, galvanized metal and painted surfaces.
Prevents paint peeling on new unfinished plastic parts and previously painted surfaces.
Easy to use and cost efficient.
Can be topcoated with any type of paint system.
Works on flexible and rigid surfaces.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:
Color: Clear
VOC Content: 3.9 lbs./gal
Application Viscosity: 17-18 sec. #2 Zahn Cup
Spray Temperature: 50°F to 95°F (72°F recommended)
Dry Time: 10 minutes (72°F)
Top Coat: Within one hour
Gun Nozzle: .8 - 1.4mm (1.2mm recommended)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Wash all areas to be painted with soap and water then wipe down with Super Clean 2 Plastic Cleaner. Any dirt, oils, grease or other contaminants must be removed. If the part has previously been painted or primed, scuff the surface with a coarse scuff pad and then clean & wipe with Super Clean 2 Plastic Cleaner. 2. Shake thoroughly. Apply a medium wet coat of Low VOC INTER-BOND Adhesion Promoter and allow to dry for 10 minutes before top coating.
3. Top coat should be applied within 1 hour. If top coating after 1 hour, wipe surface with a tack cloth and re-apply 1 light coat of Low VOC INTER-BOND Adhesion Promoter and allow to dry for 10 minutes before top coating.
