    In the 1920's when the roaring 20's dresses were thin straps, dress clips became the fad for glamorizing the straps. In the 30's & 40's, as fashions changed, they continued in popularity with the movie stars of the times wearing them, on square neck collars, lapels and bow blouses. Finding a 3 piece set, still together is an exciting presentation." Detailed overlapping Eucalyptus leaves and wired berries adorn the tops, affixed to twisted square wire frames. Brass clips on the reverse. Measure larger 2.1 inches by 1.5 inches. Smaller 1.9 inches by 1 inch. Lovely vintage condition with the patina you would expect on brass of this age.
